World Ice Competition
12, 13 and 14 January 2018 Piazza della Libertà
Gaeta will host the 1st international ice sculpture competition which will start on Friday 12 January 2018, the day in which the artists will be involved together in the creation of a demonstration sculpture, using 20 blocks of ice for a total of 3 tons.
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 will enter the heart of the competition to be held from 15 to 21 hours in Piazza della Libertà: each artist, in each day, will be delivered two blocks of ice and will have two hours to realize their work free theme.
The sculptors, equipped with water, barbed wire, saws and pallets, will each model their own ice cube, giving life to imaginative original and unique works of their kind.
